Freedom Studios A joint project between CapeUK, Carlton Bolling College in Bradford, Freedom Studios and Bradford MDC exploring how the use of drama techniques can help newly arrived and EAL students improve their English language skills. Spinning Top Films created a video to document progress and illustrate how the programme could be of benefit in other schools.

They requested an animation that would describe the mould making process whilst remaining as engaging and entertaining as possible. Local Caricature artist Mick Hollinworth provided the character artwork.

Sony We produced a short teaser for the reveal of Sony’s new Smartwatch, showing a visual history of the evolution of the timepiece. The finished video was widely used by Sony’s social media team to promote the imminent arrival of the Sony Smartwatch 2.

John Parrott on Ageing in Snooker
Snooker Following his retirement from competitive snooker, well known BBC presenter John Parrott contemplated his decision and sought explanations from experts on the effects of ageing. The former World Snooker Champion, and keen scholar of the Sport of Kings agreed to take to the streets of Sheffield at night to capture a feeling of retrospection. Shot entirely with the Canon 5DMKII DSLR camera, the images are stunning.
MSF Nobel Peace Prize Winners 1999
Nobel Medecins Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders) deservedly won the 1999 Nobel Peace Prize. This documentary was broadcast worldwide following the announcement. Director Louise Murray and Cameraman Colin Nuttall travelled to Liberia’s border with war-ravaged Sierra Leone to capture an MSF team at work.
